The Cheyenne County Community Center handles the reservations for the City of Sidney, the Lodgepole Valley Youth Camp and the Memorial Living Gardens.
The City of Sidney has a Shelter House and Picnic Shelter located in Legion Park that people can reserve for any non-commercial event. Both of these facilities require a $50.00 deposit to reserve
the date and, the deposit is returned once the city has inspected the rented facility for cleanliness and damage. With the addition of the new pond in Legion Park the pond gazebo on the east side can also be reserved for the special family reunion or wedding. The City of Sidney also requires a $50 Damage Deposit to reserve the Pond Gazebo. To reserve a date for the Shelter House, Picnic Shelter, or pond gazebo print and fill out the City of Sidney's Facility Reservation Form, and return it to the Community Center to lock in your reservation.
The Living Memorial Gardens have a Gazebo that people can give a $50.00 donation to the organization to utilize the Gazebo for weddings or family gatherings. The donation helps offset the costs associated with maintenance and upkeep of the Living Memorial Gardens. Please print and fill out the Living Memorial Gardens Reservation Form and return it to the Center with your donation to lock in your reservation.
The Lodgepole Valley Youth Camp has a lodge, Multi-Purpose building and 4 cabins that can be rented. A $60.00 deposit is required before the date can be reserved for your function. The lodge rent is $60.00 per day, the Multi-Purpose building is $25.00 per day, and the cabins rent for $25.00 each per day. These can be reserved by coming in to the Center to fill out the appropriate forms; the reservation fee is also due at that time.
The Community Center also has meeting rooms and gyms that may be rented for that business meeting or group meeting/function. We also have special meeting room and gym rates for birthday parties. We will also provide themed decorations for your party. Please fill out the Function Reservation Form and bring in to the Community Center to reserve your room or gym space.
